The prince’s eyes widened in shock. Who did he think he was, to be speaking to royalty in this way? Oh, that’s right. His father was that dumb peasant who tried to challenge him before. And he wondered why he had been exiled, hah! He spit at the worker's face before continuing.
“You will not say things like that again, half-blood. And you will say "sire" when addressing me. Get back to work, fairy boy, you are being more lazy than my cat.”
Fae sneered in response.
“If anyone in this palace resembles a useless, overfed house pet, it is you.”
Theo's face turned red in flustered rage, reaching out and pulling the fairy by his ragged clothes until they were eye to eye.
“If I would have known that you were nothing but a dud and a magicless, troublemaking pest, I wouldn't have spent a penny on you. You're lucky I haven't executed you yet, kid. I'd keep my mouth shut if I were you.”
A pair of brave, dark brown eyes narrowed in annoyance.
“It's not my fault you were stupid enough to trust the village idiot when she came around selling her "fairy slaves" in bottles. It's too bad you aren't me, anyways. Maybe then you'd see you should spend more money towards a hairbrush and less towards food.”
“I said, get to work .” The impatient growl in Theodoric’s voice would send shivers down anyone’s spine, Fae’s included. When even he himself couldn’t think of anything witty to say in comeback, that’s what he turned to.
“Very well, sire. As you please.” With no more rude comments or questions asked, the creature huffed, and returned to his tedious jobs: scrubbing dishes, washing clothes, and yes- cleaning the litterbox.

I may or may not be writing a story. Though it may or may not be just little bits and pieces now.
